2025 Subaru Forester Hybrid Review | Seeing the Forester Through The Trees
SUBARU FINALLY HAS A HYBRID FORESTER! Wow! We’ve been promised hybrids by Subaru for what feels like decades, and they are finally here! The Crosstrek and Forester are the first in a line of fuel-sipping Subies, but is the hybrid an upgrade? In short, yes! For what ends up being a modest increase in weight and the sacrifice of a spare tire you get more power, better fuel economy, and seemingly no loss in capability (you even keep the 8.7 inches of ground clearance!). The biggest downside right now is probably the lack of a Wilderness Hybrid trim level but even that may only be a matter of time. For ~$1,400 would you pony up for some extra ponies and savings at the pump?
