Aside from that hybrid powertrain, the 2025 Suabru Forester’s exterior gets a bit of a makeover, but doesn’t mess with its boxy shape much. Its dimensions are a bit bigger than the previous generation’s, and there’s also a new front grille. If you’ve driven newer models from the Subaru lineup then the Forester’s interior will look familiar with its 11.6 inch tablet-style infotainment screen.
Just because a hybrid compact crossover is great, doesn’t mean it’s going to be a best-seller like the RAV4. The Subaru Forester is proof of that. If there wasn’t already so much competition from such reputable brands, the Forester would have a better chance standing out.
