Subaru hasn’t let the media drive this SUV on ‘real’ roads yet, and we don’t know all the details, but this preview drive will give you an idea whether this hybrid version of the Forester will be right for you.
It’s a capable thing, practical and thoughtful in terms of the cabin space, and has a new hybrid petrol-electric powertrain that is a big step forward compared to the last one — but it still has symmetrical all-wheel drive (AWD) and better ground clearance, and with X-Mode it goes further than most in unsealed and 4WD situations.
My full review is still to come, but it’s a promising start for the new Forester!
