Testing out a Golf 8 is a important thing for the Golf series which have turned market for enthusiasts a lot and I can understand that.
But as a car its good, but if you are a faithful Golf owner it’s not in your expectations maybe. But drives well and is better in some ways than prev MK7.
This is the normal hybrid version, GTE has 245hp with tuned HP from el battery, that would be cool to test.
Positive things:
-Comfortable and silent than previous gen
-Better headlights and updated technology
-More refined engines (not this directly, but generally)
-Better hybrid car than prev gen with updates battery pack and systems.
-Very grippy even at -15*c!
Negative things:
-Not much Golf vibes here with the solid feel, sportiness when needed. Its just not there.
-Not the interior build quality aa older ones and this is straight from factory, squeaky and loose interior parts?
-No good looking interior or exterior design
Conc:
Get diesel or if Hybrid, get the GTE 245 also makes car look a ton better!
