Toyota Corolla Sedan gets 1.5 Dynamic Force engine
Toyota will present the Corolla Sedan with the new 1.5 Dynamic Force power unit that offers greater efficiency. The 1.5 Dynamic Force, the new engine option of the Toyota Corolla Sedan produced in Turkey, was developed to meet the new emission standards in Europe.
Toyota’s new 1.5 Dynamic Force engine draws attention with its low consumption and environmental features. The new 3-cylinder 1.5-litre engine weighs less and takes up less space thanks to its modern and TNGA-compliant design. In addition, it offers a 17% improvement in fuel consumption and CO2 emissions.
The new 1.5 Dynamic Force, with its advanced technology and improved features, offers a better air-fuel mixture, providing higher thermal efficiency and lower fuel consumption. The new 1.5-liter engine has a combined consumption of 127-139 g / km CO2 and 5.6-6.2 l / 100 km according to WLTP measurements.
The unit that can be preferred in the Toyota Corolla Sedan can produce 123 horsepower, 153 Nm of torque and can be paired with a continuously variable ratio automatic (CVT) or 6-speed manual transmission. CVT has 10 forward rates in manual mode. The new unit will replace the 1.6-liter engine that can produce 132 horsepower and 159 Nm of torque, and prices will be announced soon.
