The 2023 Honda Civic Type R is the latest in a long-line of ultimate Civics, building on its predecessor with improved performance (especially in terms of its chassis) and a classier, more restrained look. The 2023 Toyota GR Corolla, meanwhile, is basically a Skunkworks project that looks like a Corolla but drives like a completely different car, complete with a growling turbocharged three-cylinder and clever, three-mode GR Four all-wheel-drive system.
