Toyota Corolla Altis hybrid GR Sport 2022 || Details specifications review
More beautiful and sophisticated. That’s the new version of the Corolla Altis GR Sport, reported by Toyota Motor Thailand. Although the makeover is not extreme, it now looks like a model in Taiwan. The sedan also carries the tagline: Brand New Racer Brand New Feeling. But the important thing is that the unit has hybrid technology and has a suite of Toyota Safety Sense driver assistance systems as standard. In Indonesia it is not yet available, but hopefully it will follow.
For the regular version, the sedan is still powered by the naturally aspirated 1.8-liter Dual VVT-i 2ZR-FXE four-cylinder petrol engine. The maximum power bundle is 140 PS at 6,000 rpm and 177 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm. Then mated to a CVT transmission with seven acceleration ratios and a paddle shifter behind the steering wheel.
New in the Corolla Altis GR Sport is a hybrid powertrain, combining the Atkinson cycle version of a conventional engine. The resultant obtained is 98 PS at 5,200 rpm and a torsional moment of 142 Nm since 3,600 rpm. It is further strengthened by the power of the 72 PS electric motor and 163 Nm of torque. The electric current is sourced from a nickel-metal hydride battery to produce an accumulated kinetic energy of 122 PS. Toyota Thailand claims the combined fuel efficiency figure is 23.3 km per liter
