With 220kW and 370Nm from a powered-up version of the GR Yaris’ 1.6-litre turbo-triple, adjustable all-wheel drive, big brakes and sticky tyres, Toyota’s newest GR model is undoubtedly the hottest Corolla ever and should be good enough to give the likes of the Hyundai i30 N and Volkswagen Golf R a headache.
