In this video, I will talk about a recent press release from Toyota and Lexus where they announced the extension to Safety Connect and Service Connect Trial periods. They now extend the trial period up to 10 years from the day of purchase. That is up from a max of 5 years (depending on packages). This is great news for Lexus owners as they get to have the feature for a longer period and don’t have to pay a fee after 5 years to maintain the subscription. Certain 2023 models will also get the up to 10 year subscription trial. This should become the norm for all models with Lexus Interface.
Now if they can reduce the price for remote connect and drive connect, that would be assume too.
