The pint-size Toyota GR Yaris is a giant-killer, but the 2023 Toyota GR Corolla takes the same 1.6-litre turbo-triple, all-wheel drive formula and wraps it into a bigger, more practical five-door body to produce an even better hot hatch.
It won’t be cheap and it’s still a while away from Aussie showrooms, but the first bona-fide Corolla hot hatch shows just how serious the Japanese auto giant is with its Gazoo Racing performance division.
