Review: 2023 Toyota GR Corolla – Perfect AWD Manual Machine?

I spend some time driving the 2023 Toyota GR Corolla both on the track and on the road to see what Toyota’s hot hatch is like. With 300 hp, an AWD system with a user-selectable torque split, a great manual transmission and a light curb weight, the GR Corolla basically gets everything right. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to try the car on public streets so my final verdict will have to wait until I have one of these as a press car, but overall it’s a very impressive package and it nicely fills the gap left by the Subaru WRX STI when it left the market. What do you think about the 2023 GR Corolla? Huge thanks to Toyota for providing this opportunity!
