Lexus NX 450h+ 2022 Review

Is this new flagship mid-size luxury SUV more than just a fancy-looking RAV4 with a plug-in hybrid powertrain? 👉 Full Review:

The Lexus NX 450h+ is not only the Japanese luxury brand’s first plug-in model, but the flagship of its all-new mid-size SUV model range, which rides on the same TNGA platform architecture as the RAV4.

But the 2022 Lexus NX is more than just a tarted-up Toyota, even if the 450h+ takes the PHEV powertrain from the RAV4 Prime not sold in Australia and deploys it within a snazzy, edgy body with Japanese design flourishes that mean it won’t be mistaken for any European SUVs.

The cabin is completely new with an eye-bulging 14-inch central touch-screen and the usual plush-pile carpets and supple leather seats. So should BMW X3, Audi Q5 and Mercedes-Benz GLC stand up and take notice? Find out in our launch video review.
