It’s finally here – the new 2022 Lexus NX midsize SUV, set to compete with the Audi Q5, BMW X3, Mercedes GLC and others. Sitting on the GA-K platform shared by the Lexus ES but also the Toyota RAV4 and Camry, this is an all-new product even if the front end looks quite similar to the old NX.

Under the bonnet there’s a choice of NX 250, NX 350 turbo, NX 350h hybrid and NX 450h plug-in hybrid engines. There is also a choice of front-wheel drive and AWD and 17 different variants! It’s a big range.

In today’s episode, editor Tom Baker reviews the Lexus NX 350h F Sport EP2 ($83,900).
