The Lexus NX has entered its second-generation, and after a somewhat disappointing first effort, the Japanese luxury SUV is now a formidable entrant in the midsize crossover market.
With revised powertrains, a better built body, more space inside, better technology, improved safety gear and a focus on driving comfort and engagement, the new 2022 Lexus NX is finally a proper alternative to the likes of the Audi Q5, BMW X3, Mercedes GLC and Genesis GV70.
Are there any downsides? Well, at the Australia launch of the second-gen Lexus NX 2022 range, Byron Mathioudakis picked up on a few things that might be better. But only a few. In the case of the first-gen NX, that list was very long.
